It used to be common practice: If a horse was lame, it was given the “grace for grace”. Fortunately, these days are over – many horses can now be saved in modern veterinary clinics. However, such treatment is anything but trivial. Cranes are even used for 600 kilo patients under anesthesia. We visited one of the most famous horse clinics in Germany.
