As part of the “Starry Evenings” project, a concert “The World of Mugham Arif Babayev” was held at the Heydar Aliyev Palace, dedicated to the work of the prominent mugham master, holder of the state orders “Shohrat”, “Sharaf”, “Istiglal”, People’s Artist Arif Babayev, reports Day.Az with reference to Trend.
Over many years of fruitful creative activity, 86-year-old master Arif Babayev won the love of millions of fans of mugham art. The People’s Artist made a significant contribution to the development and promotion of mugham, and raised a galaxy of talented khanende. In the program, the soloists performed mugams, songs and tesnifs from the repertoire of Arif Babayev.
People’s artists Melekkhanym Eyubova, Zabit Nabizade, Kenul Khasieva, honored artists Almaz Orujeva, Zakir Aliyev, Gulistan Aliyeva, Jabir Abdullayev, Nuria Huseynova, Firuz Sakhavat, Elnara Abdullayeva, Ekhtiram Huseynov, Kenul Kerimova, Sevinj Saryeva, Babek Niftaliyev, Fergana performed at the evening. Gasimova, Elnur Zeynalov and his wife Vugar Aliyev.
The concert became an expression of gratitude, respect and great love for the work of the mugham master.
