The hotel was defined by the website Which? as a hotel that “should be avoided at all costs”. The reviews of the hotel are so bad that a previous guest, Rebecca Keel, called it a “horror movie-like establishment.” Kiel added that “something didn’t feel right from the moment we entered the room. There was a pile of hay on the side, there were rabbit droppings everywhere and I noticed blood stains on the bed, which was covered in garbage.”

Elle Wilson, another guest of the hotel, described it as “absolutely filthy and completely run down”. But the hotel’s troubles really don’t end here. The hotel is currently facing two separate investigations by the UK authorities which it is very likely that it will no longer comply with. The first investigation deals with the hotel’s responsibility for the death of a young British woman named Chloe Haynes, who was found dead in the hotel after a coffin fell on her. The second investigation deals with the injury of one of the hotel’s guests.
