The worst nightmares of Spanish drivers

by time news

Vampires, werewolves, ghosts, clowns… Yes, there are many fears that can disturb human beings, but if there is something that every driver fears more than the girl with the curveis going round and round looking for a hole while time passes.

“I’m going to pick up the car and it’s not there. Luckily, I was on the wrong floor…”, “I can’t remember which street I parked on and had to walk around the neighbourhood” or “5 friends looking for a car that, 45 minutes later, ‘appears’ parked, obviously, where I had parked it ». These are just some of the anecdotes that can happen when you get behind the wheel, and that could be described as “the worst nightmares of drivers”.

Thus, 90% of those surveyed by Parclick say that one of their greatest fears is being late for their plans because they try to find parking. Another noteworthy fact is that most of the situations that “terrify” us they surround other vehicles, and it is that not everything in driving and parking depends on us. 46.7% of those surveyed fear that they are parking and causing a queue to form behind them, while more than half of the drivers are afraid that a “smart guy” will arrive and take away the space they had already seen.

Of course, there are cases of all kinds. Another of our most frequent concerns is not getting spull the car out of the parking lot when going to pick it up, either because the space is very tight (47.4%) or because someone has decided that the best place to park was in front of our vehicle (52.6%).

About 10% of the respondents indicated that go with children and let them cry It is one of the most terrifying situations. Added to the stress of looking for parking, which is already an arduous task, is the tension of hearing the little ones cry as if the world were going to end.

In addition, we cannot forget that when we pick up the car we can take unpleasant surprises. Proof of this is that 56.8% of drivers indicated that they were worried that their car would be scratched while it was parked, while 43.2% admitted that they were afraid of finding a fine when returning for their vehicle.

Although there are scares that are common to the vast majority, some of those surveyed by Parclick also surprised with original anecdotes that are not wasted, such as run out of gas parkinghaving to ask for help on the street to park, finding the car surrounded by wild boars or forgetting to leave the handbrake on after parking on a slope.
