The writer Andrea De Carlo, in his twenty-first novel, enters with a straight leg into political current affairs. In this interview with Candida Morvillo he tells “The Theater of Dreams” (La Nave di Teseo) and explains: “My sovereign leader of the National Union, formerly called the Northern Union, frightens me for its apparent normality and dark ties , like those with the Russians who manipulate elections all over the world and poison their main opponent on a plane, so that the whole world knows ”. As for the other protagonist party of the novel, a welfare movement with a registered trademark, De Carlo proposes ideas for grabbers which he also advises in reality: «The youth prize, for those under 18; the abolition of the theoretical driving test, the “okay” prize, which subscribes four exams and the degree thesis to out-of-course candidates ». Finally, the writer has a reflection on the hugs denied in times of pandemic.
