73% of viewing rooms of the courts of Galicia are already entirelydigital and the Galician Government plans to reach 100% this year.

This progress was one of the objectives set in the third technological plan of the Administration of Xustiza in Galicia, which has a budget of €43 million for five years.

The president of the Xunta, Alfonso Rueda, detailed other results of the plan such as that in 2022 7,314 documents were presented through the electronic courthouse. This figure represented an increase of 63% compared to 2021. In the first five months of 2023, 5,786 writings were delivered, almost 80% of all of 2022. Through the prior appointment, more than47,000 others in civil registries and more than 1,500 in victim assistance offices.

Between 2022 and May of this year, in the Galician courts more than 6.1 million documentsand in courtrooms an average of 9,600 recordings per month. Another advance in the plan is a textualization service that has allowed 60,700 recorded hearings to be converted to text format, which can be consulted through the viewer of the electronic judicial file; and it has also been implanted in all judicial bodies the electronic reception of files administrative, with which more than 10,000 documents from 167 organizations have been managed.
