After two years lost due to the pandemic and the fair held last year, we hope that this year it will surpass all the fairs held previously, he says.
What are the novelties for this year doctor?
Considering that the cattle fair is the largest event of the Julia Festival, we strive every year to surpass the previous one and this year it is once again of an international nature, with 75 head of cattle coming from the sister Republic of Guatemala and others from the Costa Rica and obviously also from El Salvador.
On July 14, we bring the group “Los Sebastian” to El Salvador for the first time, which is among the ten northern groups with the highest ranking in Mexico.
On July 15, Saturday, we will have the inauguration of the fair and on the 16th the Equestrian Parade with the participation of more or less 700 horsemen and that, unlike previous years, will start at 3:00 in the afternoon, it will no longer be at 12:00. Meridian to return between 6 and 7 at night.
On July 26 and to say goodbye to the festivities, we will have “Salsa Night”, where there will be 3 musical groups. San Salvador All Star, Tavares. and MAYCOL, a Puerto Rican singer to dance until dawn.
We will have two rodeos, as well as cattle judging, ribbon races, palenque or cockfighting. There will be twelve days of activities and musical groups among which, for example, La Platinum, the band L & L, among others.
Is there a charge for admission to the events?
General admission is US$4.00, the same as last year, which entitles you to enter any of the events, with the exception of the Los Sebastianes group, which will have an additional cost.
We will have an excellent gastronomic offer with about 25 restaurants, where you can find diversity, piñatas, comedians and other attractions for children, etc.
And for the union, we will have exhibitors of agricultural equipment, veterinary products, the government, Pro-Leche, etc.
We expect to receive more or less one hundred thousand people in the thirteen days of the fair, for which security is assured, despite the redundancy, since we are going to have the Army, the National Civil Police and the municipal police.
This past year we have expanded the facilities and we have faith that it will be a success.
