Kumali: Three people including the auto driver and his wife have been arrested in the case of killing a young man due to illicit relationship. Prakash (37), an employee of a private financial institution in Kambham, Tamil Nadu, was killed on Natukal Street, Kambham.
Auto driver Vinod Kumar (34), his wife Nitya (26), and Vinod’s friend Ramesh (31), who helped carry the body, have been arrested in the case. Prakash was killed and thrown in the canal that carries water from Mullaperiyar to Vaiga Dam.
Prakash had an affair with Vinod’s wife Nitya. After discovering this, the police said that Vinod Kumar was preparing a plan to kill him. Nitya has given a statement to the police that Prakash threatened her by showing her nude pictures.
The incident came to light when Katti Prakash’s wife complained that her husband had not been seen since the 21st. Vinod and Nithya confessed to the crime and surrendered before the police after it was confirmed that they would be arrested in the case.
