A young man from Hyderabad killed his friend for talking to his girlfriend on his cell phone. Also, the youth who cut the body parts of the deceased and sent them on his girlfriend’s WhatsApp later surrendered to the police.
Police have released details of the First Information Report (FIR) related to the murder of engineering student Naveen in Abdullapurmet, a suburb of Hyderabad. A copy of this has also been submitted to the Hayat Nagar Court. What’s in it?
What happened?
“The murdered Naveen fell in love with a young girl while studying Intermediate at Ideal Junior College in Dilsukh, Hyderabad. The two were close and had moved to different places.
While Naveen was studying here, Harihara Krishna was also studying with him.
Naveen and the girl broke up two years ago after a dispute. Taking this to his advantage, Harihara Krishna expressed his desire to love the girl. Hariharakrishna says that the girl also agreed to it.
Later, Naveen has been calling and texting the girl frequently. Because of this, Hariharakrishna went against Naveen and killed him.”
This was stated in the copy of the FIR submitted by the Abdullahpurmed police in the Hayat Nagar court.
It is mentioned in the FIR that Hariharakrishna informed the police about these matters while surrendering after the murder.
A gruesome murder
A copy of the first-intelligence report obtained by the BBC reveals more details about Nenavat Navin’s murder.
It describes how Hariharakrishna has brutally killed Naveen.
On the afternoon of February 17, Hariharakrishna called Naveen, who was studying engineering at Nalgonda MG University. Both have met in LB Nagar, Hyderabad.
“It’s late at night, I have to go to the college hostel,” Naveen told his friend Harihara Krishna.
After that, both of them left together in a two-wheeler named ‘TS 07 JD 0244’.
Later, Harihara Krishna stopped the vehicle at a traffic-free spot near Ramadevi School in Petha Amberpet area while riding a bike. “He murdered Naveen there around 12 midnight,” the police said in the FIR.
‘Cut out the heart…’
References to the murder in the FIR are as follows.
“Hariharakrishna had planned and killed Naveen. First he strangled Naveen.
Then he cut the neck with a knife and cut the head from the body. He cut the private parts of the body (penis).
He also cut out the heart from Naveen’s body. He chopped off his fingers alone and threw them away and ran away.”
A police officer spoke to the BBC about the case.
“The accused in the case, Parala Hariharakrishna, has surrendered at the Abdullahpurmet police station. We have collected many details from him based on the information collected from him. We are investigating the matter further,” a police official told the BBC on condition of anonymity.
Gloves at the scene of the murder
“This murder of Naveen may have been premeditated. There were bloodstains at the scene of the murder. We have also seized gloves and masks from there. Harihara Krishna used the gloves before the stabbing.
Harihara Krishna has chosen to visit the place of the murder beforehand. “He may have committed this murder after seeing that the place was a barren land with no human traffic and took it to his advantage,” the police said.
A picture shared on WhatsApp
The police said that Harihari Krishna not only killed Naveen and cut his body parts, but also took a photo of it and sent it to his girlfriend on WhatsApp.
ANI has ordered a detailed investigation into the murder of a 22-year-old youth. The company announced.
“Apologies to Naveen’s family”
Harihara Krishna’s father Prabhakar while talking to reporters at Karimabad in Warangal district said, “I apologize to Naveen’s family members. Hari had come to Warangal on Shivaratri day.
I asked him worriedly what happened. He left Hyderabad without saying a word. Two days later his phone switched off. He came back to Warangal on 23rd.
He said Naveen died in a fight between us. I asked the police to surrender.
I asked the local police to surrender. He told me that he would go to Hyderabad and surrender. Both their lives are ruined by one woman. One died and the other went to jail. I apologize to Naveen’s family,” said Harihara Krishna’s father.
A separate room for Harihara Krishna
The arrested Harihara Krishna was taken to the Charlapally jail by the police. A prison official, who did not want to be named, told the BBC that he was kept in a separate cell there, separated from others.
