Kochi: The body of a woman who went missing from her home on Monday morning was found in the Muttar river. Joseph’s daughter Anuja K. at Palarivattam Thaiparam. The dead body of Josie (22) was found near Elur ferry. The family came to know that Anuja was missing at five o’clock on Monday morning. After finding blood stains and Anuja’s note in the room of the house, the police was informed.

Meanwhile, the woman’s scooter was found near the Muttar river. After seeing blood stains on the scooter and the handrail of the bridge, it was suspected that it had fallen into the river. Later, the body was found at the Elur ferry side, two and a half kilometers away from the bridge, during a search conducted by the fire brigade, police and locals. Palarivattam police have registered a case on the complaint of the family that Anuja is missing.
