Rokiškis pulsates with youth, there are many active and active young people, the city is modernizing, there are many innovations that do not allow you to think that Rokiškis is old. Young people here have a lot of opportunities related to non-formal education, the only drawback is the lack of space for young people to spend their free time. The uniqueness of Rokiškis is the street of painted shutters, no other city has that. This is a real rock thing. On the occasion of Rokiškis’ birthday, I wish young people to act, do, try everything and not be afraid to learn from their mistakes – this makes us stronger.

I think that the involvement of young people has made the city reborn, expand and change for the better since I was a little girl. Even before that, Rokiškis was tidy and beautiful. As I matured, it became even more precious. There are enough activities for young people in Rokiškis. I also learned that children with disabilities are also included in activities.

At all times of the year, Rokiškis seems to me to be full of life: in autumn, the paths and wooden sculptures of L. Šepkas Park are decorated with multi-colored tree leaves. In winter, with the onset of frost and snow, the whole period of Christmas coziness is reborn. Spring surprises with awakening nature, and summer pampers with sunny views that give a completely different look to Rokiškis Manor, Independence Square – my most beloved places. Of course, we can see all this in other parts of the world, but Rokiškis is surrounded by an indescribable beauty that distinguishes our city from others.

My hometown brings me a sense of peace and security that I can’t experience in other places, so I come back here every weekend. I am sure that after my studies I will return and work in this city. Rokiškis is the first and only home, so it is the most pleasant corner of Lithuania for my heart, filled with childhood memories and teenage adventures.

I wish the people of Rokiškis, especially the youth, to continue to make our town famous by getting involved in new activities, creating many unique ideas, and not forgetting to nurture and respect our small but significant town.

The city, although reaching for the 525-year mark, does not look like it. New buildings are always being built somewhere, and old ones are being renovated. If you look deeper and join the ranks of the youth, you can really see that the youth here also have their own pulse. It may not be like the big cities, but it exists and sometimes keeps flowing, creating and releasing something new into the world.

As Rokiškis is a small town, a huge plus is the community. In a small town, everyone knows everyone, so getting help when organizing or creating something for the city is easy. The community is always ready to lend a helping hand.

The city and people of Rokiškis have given me a lot, starting with opportunities to create, and ending with the fact that I can share the acquired experience with younger colleagues. This is my native land and I have a burning desire to return here in the future and become one of those who will help future generations to grow and work for the welfare of Rokiškis.

On the occasion of the city’s birthday, I wish you not to be afraid to dream, to create new events, new traditions. And in order to implement one or another decision, do not be afraid to contact the members of the community of this city, they will certainly lend a helping hand. There are few of us, so we must stick together.

Rokiškis is important to me because I was born and raised here. I love the city for its beautiful nature and deep history, but sometimes I wish there were more activities and new things to do. There are opportunities for young people, but there could be more. There is a lack of more interesting places where we could spend our free time, and there are few events or activities.

I wish that Rokiškis will not stop growing and developing, so that more opportunities will appear for young people and the city will be even more lively and interesting to live in.

Today, Rokiškis looks like a city that knows how to preserve its history and at the same time adapt to modern times. Although this year marks its 525th anniversary, the city seems alive and well managed as it combines old traditions with new ideas. Its history is deep, but the city is full of youthful energy and striving for new opportunities.

For me, Rokiškis is special because of its history and natural beauty. The city is famous for its architecture, historical mansion and cultural events. All this gives it a unique charm that can only be felt by living here and experiencing the everyday life of the city. Young people have something to do here: soon there will be a new skateboard park where they can ride. The city park is also a great place to meet friends or spend time actively, and in winter you can go to the pool.

I wish Rokiškis and its people to continue to preserve their history and culture, strengthening the city with new ideas and the enthusiasm of the youth. Let the city grow while maintaining its uniqueness and bring joy to the residents.

In my eyes, this time is wonderful for the city of Rokiškis, the city is active, many projects involving young people have been implemented in the last five years. Despite the fact that Rokiškis turns 525 years old, we see young families with small children from the windows of our houses, so it is clear that there is no difference in the age of the city. Life is, was and will be.

Ideas that involve young people have been implemented, such as a new skatepark, and young people have more and more opportunities to spend time. However, there is a lack of active youth zones, especially in winter.

For me, Rokiškis is cozy and calm. These are great opportunities for families from big cities to start here. I recently noticed that, compared to other cities, the prices of clubs in Rokiškis are lower: music school, swimming pool, sports school. I can safely say that this city can offer not only its beautiful nature and culture, but also perfect living conditions.

I wish the city to continue to prosper, develop and never stop surprising and delighting. For the people of Rokiškis, happiness and success in our city.

Rokiškis is beautiful, pulsating with youth, but at the same time it is an old city with its old architecture and beautiful cultural traditions.

I am glad that as time goes by, more and more opportunities are opening up for young people. Everyone can choose according to their wishes, aspirations and attitude. While developing, Rokiškis is raising strong, educated, athletic, brave and unafraid of challenges youth.

For me, Rokiškis is beautiful nature and history. When I went to study, I realized that Rokiškis has a lot of greenery, also the pace is slower and people are not so tense.

Our city has many attractions: a manor with a wonderful environment, an alley leading to St. He sees the church, L. Šepka’s park, many spaces for young people, cultural events.

On the occasion of the 525th birthday of Rokiškis, I would like to wish that the number of people living in this city does not decrease, as well as to be responsible and create the future of Rokiškis further. Happy birthday, Rokiški!

When you are in the city on the weekends, it is sometimes even strange that many of the people you meet have not seen since graduation or are strangers. It’s nice that someone is raising children here, someone is coming back, and someone may even be moving. Even though I used to complain to the guests of the city that Rokiškis is just one beautiful square and street, over time I noticed that the city is moving forward – updating and becoming more beautiful.

Although Rokiškis faces demographic problems, I am glad that, at least during the day, there seems to be no shortage of activities. I am most happy about the changes in the Music School, the Youth Center, the “Romuva” Gymnasium, and local non-governmental organizations.

For me, Rokiškis is an oasis of peace. I wish others to notice the same peace, fresh air, coziness, spaciousness.
