Maccabi Haifa’s youth team landed in Portugal yesterday (Sunday) and joined the club’s senior team in Lisbon ahead of their participation in the Youth Champions League, when they will face the European champion and holder of the Intercontinental Cup – in the local edition.

As a reminder, following the promotion of the senior team to the group stage of the Champions League, the Masai Dago trainees will also participate in the workshop this season against the youth teams of Benfica, Juventus and Paris Saint-Germain.

Today, the team will hold the final training ahead of the upcoming match, when the match will take place at the Benfica Lisbon academy complex, also known as the senior team’s training ground. The complex has nine pitches (three of them with synthetic grass), including a main pitch with 2,721 seats in the stands – in addition, it is the home pitch of Benfica B’s reserve team (up to the age of 23).
