“As part of the dismantling of the Yves Saint Laurent, Across the Style exhibition in Tokyo, Sahar Lamsyah, Museum Management Coordinator at MYSLM, will bring her professional experience and expertise to her colleagues at the Yves Saint Laurent Paris Museum and to teams from the National Art Center in Tokyo in December,” reads a MYSLM press release.
“This unique tripartite collaboration was initiated last September during the assembly of this exhibition thanks to the participation of Hayate Machache, head of reserves at the Yves Saint Laurent Marrakech museum,” notes the same source.
The Yves Saint Laurent Marrakech Museum, which opened its doors in the fall of 2017 near the Majorelle Gardens, is a true cultural center which has a permanent exhibition room.
It also has a temporary exhibition room, a photography gallery, an auditorium, a reference library, a bookstore and a café-restaurant.
A center dedicated to collections occupies the basement and guarantees the works the best conditions of preventive conservation.
The training of staff members is also a priority for the Jardin Majorelle SCA, recalls the press release.
