The TV star and his wife have had another child. Florian Weiss announced the birth on Instagram – and revealed dramatic details.
Around two years ago, Florian Weiss caused a double surprise: The presenter, who hosts the ZDF magazine “Volle Kanne – Service daily”, announced his wedding and new addition to the family. In July 2022, he married his partner Caroline in the closest family circle on Lake Ammersee.
At that time, the mental trainer was already pregnant and gave birth to a daughter in December of the same year. Now the couple has had another child. Florian Weiss announced this on Instagram. “She’s finally here, our second daughter,” the 47-year-old wrote in a photo showing the baby in section and the hands of all four family members.
The presenter also reveals details about the birth – which was quite dramatic. “The young lady was suddenly in a real hurry at the end. We didn’t even have the chance to go to the hospital,” says Florian Weiss.
His daughter was born “between the bedroom and the bathroom.” “On a hastily pushed-together mattress.” Luckily, the midwife was quickly on site, as were paramedics and an emergency doctor. “To the delight of our neighbors, who were woken up by blue lights and sirens before sunrise,” the presenter looks back on the situation with humor.
“Everyone is doing well and we are infinitely grateful for this gift of life,” he concludes by assuring his followers. In the comments, the TV star and his wife are showered with congratulations. Many colleagues such as Mareile Höppner and Jennifer Knäble also congratulate them. Florian Weiss has been one of the main presenters of the ZDF program “Volle Kanne” since January 2021. Before that, he presented the TV magazine “Leute heute” as a substitute from 2015 to 2021.
