by time news

The Permanent Theater of Bolzano reopens today with 160 free shows strictly outdoors. The program for “Fuori! Il teatro fuori dal teatro” includes 160 performances throughout South Tyrol. More than 100 will be hosted in the capital at the Tsb Arena in the Talvera meadows and throughout the city. Rocco Papaleo, Anna Foglietta, Silvio Orlando, Paola Gassman, Alessandro Haber, Stefano Massini, Paola Minaccioni, the Stivalaccio Teatro company, Michela Cescon, Ugo Pagliai, Caterina Simonelli, Marco Brinzi, Davide Lorenzo Palla, Irene Timpanaro, Ugo Dighero and Paolo Rossi are just some of the protagonists of the TSB summer season. The Tsb Arena built in the Piazzale delle Feste in the Prati del Talvera consists of two open-air rooms: one towards the Talvera bridge which includes two stands and an audience, and one – more intimate – towards the Sant’Antonio bridge. “We want to imagine what is not there, but it could be: an arena for the summer months, a square for comparison”, explains Walter Zambaldi, director of the Teatro Stabile. Also present at the inauguration were Giulio Vettorato, vice president of the province of Bolzano, and Renzo Caramaschi, mayor of Bolzano.
