Samastha District General Secretary Puthanazhi Moineen Faizi said the controversy over the resolution passed by the Golden Jubilee Conference was a vicious ploy by some media houses.
Five resolutions related to religion, ideology, community, culture and contemporaneity were adopted. An online media outlet with a photo of the Samastha President, with the reference to the conference resolution, completely omitted the first resolution related to the post-ideal and omitted the first part of the second resolution related to the community sector. “Believers need to identify those who are waging violence and armed movements in the name of religion, and the central government should be prepared to keep the age of marriage for girls at 18,” Puthanazhi Moyteen said in a statement.
