Theni: Theni district TRO, Subramanian, 60, died yesterday at a private hospital in Chennai while arranging for a liver transplant.
He belongs to Tirunelveli district. Lived in Salem Chinnathirupati with family. He went on medical leave on January 2 due to ill health. He was admitted to a private hospital in Chrompettai, Chennai for a liver transplant.
He died of jaundice before the operation. Collector Muralitharan and government officials have expressed condolences to his family.
