Theni District SP Tongare Pravin Umesh personally congratulated Kambam North Police Station Chief Mariappan for winning 3 medals in national level sports competitions.
The national level competitions were held in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala from the 18th to the 22nd of this month. 12 policemen from Tamil Nadu participated in this competition. Chief Constable Mariappan of Theni District Kambam North Police Station won the silver medal in 2nd place in bomb throwing competition and 3rd place in plate throwing and chain throwing competitions in bronze medals.
