This August, we invite you to relive the interviews with our special guests from the economy, who have come in recent months to share their vision of the future of this world and especially of Africa. This week, listen or re-listen to an exchange with Mossadeck Bally, founder of the Azalaï channel, which is in Mali, Burkina Faso, Guinea-Bissau, Benin, Mauritania, Ivory Coast and now Senegal.

Born himself in Niger, from a large family of businessmen in northern Mali, the experienced business leader has been president of the National Council of Malian Employers (CNPM) since October 2022.

We also give you an interview with Esther Duflo, winner of the Nobel Prize in Economics in 2019 with American Abhijit Banerjee and Michaël Kremer for their work on poverty. He is today the president of the Innovation Fund for Development (FID) hosted by the French Development Agency. Launched in 2021, it offers a program of development financing in the poorest countries based on the evaluation of the impact of the projects using scientific methods. Esther Duflo, the new president of the Business School of Paris, explained this on the microphone of Charlotte Cosset, a journalist who specializes in the African economy at RFI.
