“There are more people in the warehouses, but even the owners can’t say how many there are,” announced Prime Minister Dimitar Glavchev from the Elin Pelin station, where explosions erupted in a fireworks warehouse earlier today.
The two victims who were taken to “Pirogov” earlier today have 85% and 35% burns.
The Prime Minister assured that “Pirogov” and the VMA are ready to accept more victims if necessary.
Interior Minister Kalin Stoyanov also said that the number of people in the warehouse was unknown.
“One says two, the other three, the third – no more than three. The owners themselves do not know how many people are inside,” he explained.
“A while ago we witnessed a rather serious explosion, I don’t know if there are people there, what will happen to them,” the interior minister said.
The man who reported the explosions is in serious condition. According to Stoyanov, he does not speak and they cannot understand anything from him.
