One of the most anticipated interventions in the Federal Committee of the PSOE that is being held this Saturday, and in which for the first time its general secretary, Pedro Sánchez, has clearly defended the amnesty, was that of Emiliano García-Page. The president of Castilla-La Mancha, the only socialist who governs with an absolute majority, had shown his fierce opposition to the amnesty as a measure of grace in recent weeks and has expressed it again today before Sánchez.

During his speech, which came after that of the candidates from the Basque Country and Galicia, Page withdrew his rejection of the amnesty and made a deep and calm reflection on the electoral results and the political context in which we find ourselves.
