That the protagonism of women spread as a transforming spirit in any sector of society was the greatest of the commitments emanated after the debate at the Eleventh Congress Assembly of the Federation of Cuban Women held in Guanajay.
During the recently concluded process in delegations and blocks of the Villa Blanca, the members of the organization referred to aspects of the deficiencies on which the political-ideological work should focus. They also highlighted the evaluation of results in different programs and insisted on what remains to be done, with a view to the municipal conclave where many issues were highlighted.
The report presented to this body reflects the participation of the 47 blocks in the organic process of Guanajay, which constitutes a strength because in these spaces a fruitful interaction was achieved with political and governmental actors and representatives. She emphasized the need to achieve greater and better community transformation, and pay vital importance to training, with which new opportunities appear for women and their families.

Gladys Martínez Verdecia, member of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba and its first secretary in Artemisa, who also presided over the Assembly, highlighted the contribution of women in the construction of Socialism and described them as worthy heirs of its history.
«We cannot lack the willingness at any time to grow. We have to merge the experience of women who have been with the new generations for a long time. It is appropriate to drink from the past to incorporate it into the present. Remember that we raise the name of our country every day,” Martínez Verdecia stressed.

In the Eleventh Congress Assembly of the FMC, the municipal secretariat agreed to recognize the invaluable career of Dalia Godoy. She is an example of sacrifice, solidarity and dedication, three values that the Guanajayenses will assume, by their own decision, towards the national conclave.
