The suspended Supreme Court judge had words for her relationship with lawyer Luis Hermosilla.

In statements to T13, the judge lamented that “Today, all of us who were linked at some point with Mr. Hermosilla are questioned. And it is a shame because some will have been involved in situations that conflict with the law and others will not.”
Ángela Vivanco maintained that “some of us are linked from the point of view of a social connection. “That it was a connection of a social friendship, because he was not a close friend or anything similar.”
This is why “we have ended up very harmed by that situation, which seems unfair to me. And it hurts me a lot to be in this situation and with so many difficulties and obstacles to be able to defend myself,” added the Supreme Court judge.
The judge also had words for the parliamentarians who have requested her departure from the Judiciary, through constitutional accusations, asserting that “what are the difficulties or what are the difficulties of those who call saying that it would be best for me to resign? Don’t know. “We would have to go in and interpret it.”
