The judge, who faces a removal order in the highest court, two criminal investigations by the National Prosecutor’s Office and was suspended from her academic activities at the Catholic University, rHe stressed that “there is always a window to the light.”
“I would like to thank my friends who have called, written to me or visited me with their support and solidarity in the face of the difficult times my family has been through and is going through,” said Angela Vivanco in a message released by CNN Chile.
Regarding the accusations against her, the Supreme Court judge stressed that “We have had to face accusations that are taken for granted without the possibility of responding, and I have personally been the recipient of measures taken in my professional and academic work based on leaks. I am trying, with difficulty, to gather real information through my lawyers and I am interested in clarifying each of the points in which I have been mentioned.”
