The prices of grain goods rose on the world stock markets in the last week of September, according to the experts of the Sofia Stock Exchange (SSE), BTA reported.

The FOB (Free On Board) price of bread wheat in Chicago rose $9 to $255 a tonne for delivery in October. In France, it rose by 3 euros to 222 euros per ton, in Ukraine by 2 dollars to 225 dollars per ton, and in Russia – by 3 dollars to 219 dollars per ton.

The movement of the price of corn is also moving up – in the USA by 3 dollars to 208 dollars per ton, in France by 5 euros to 211 euros per ton, in Ukraine – by 2 dollars to 208 dollars per ton.

The price of barley in Ukraine was higher by $3 to $190 a tonne for October delivery, and rapeseed on the Euronext exchange for November delivery was up €10.75 to €475 a tonne.

Crude sunflower oil contracts on the Rotterdam Stock Exchange for October delivery rose $15 to $1,120 a tonne.

Refined sugar also rose, up $25.30 for October delivery to $593.90 on the London Stock Exchange.

At the Sofia Commodity Exchange, trade in grain goods was active during the week, the exchange’s experts also report. After the old-crop bread wheat deals from the beginning of the month at a price of BGN 314 per ton for EXW delivery (the seller’s only obligation is to ensure that the buyer has access to the goods), a large amount of this year’s crop is now being sought at the higher price of BGN 370 per ton, and the supply is BGN 530 per ton.

Announcements for feed wheat with delivery to the buyer (DAP delivery) range between BGN 340 and BGN 362 per ton for buyers and BGN 500 per ton for sellers. There is also an offer of fodder barley at a price of BGN 320 per ton and oilseed sunflower from BGN 870 to BGN 900 per ton.

The prices of the basic food products are stable at the same level as the initial prices, report the experts of the SSB. Oil in bottles is sold at BGN 2.20 per liter, and unrefined oil at BGN 1,750 per ton. Yellow peas continue to be offered in big bag at one ton at a starting price of BGN 1,200 per ton.

During the week of the SSB, there were transactions for gas oil for industrial and communal purposes from BGN 1,967.49 to BGN 2,244.42/thousand. l., for propane butane gas from BGN 975 to BGN 1,080/thousand. l and for natural gas from BGN 1,424.62 to BGN 1,441.59/thousand. n. cubic m. Sales of propane gas were also realized at BGN 1,066.33/thousand. l and gas for household needs at BGN 2.50 – 2.85/kg. Iron scrap at BGN 160 per ton, aluminum scrap at BGN 1,400 per ton and lead scrap at BGN 700 per ton were also bought.
