The Senate session started under the chairmanship of Chairman Yusuf Raza Gilani. Opposition Leader Shibli Faraz expressed his opinion in the House and said that for any legislation, bills are seized here, they are passed without reading, bills are bulldozed. Yes, bills are not sent to the respective committees.
He said that the laws that help to run the country, this is the main responsibility of the House, fulfilling these constitutional and legal obligations is a matter of pride.
He said that if you are bringing the law in the interest of the country, then share it with us, you are doing all this for the interests of a particular section, there is excitement that constitutional amendments are being brought in the country.
Shibli Faraz said that the government has already made the legislation controversial by keeping it secret. Unfortunately, the People’s Party is retreating from democratic values. It is a painful story, now the tension in the country is uncertain, this has never happened, Balochistan is going through a bad situation due to law and order.
He told the House that due to terrorism, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has made immense sacrifices, those who were pushed in the Prai War forty years ago have again mobilized in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, if you are enacting legislation for the betterment of the country, show us too, he said. It was said that the government members are engaged in breaking and twisting the people, if there are numbers, they can make any legislation.
