jpnn.com – Good news came from Maarten Paes ahead of the Saudi Arabia vs Indonesian National Team match in the third round of the 2026 World Cup Qualifiers for the Asian zone.
The Saudi Arabia vs Indonesia match will be held at the King Abdullah Sport City Stadium, Jeddah, Thursday (5/9/2024) evening local time or Friday (6/9/2024) early morning WIB.
Ahead of the match, the Indonesian National Team received happy news from goalkeeper Marteen Paes.
The FC Dallas goalkeeper is certain to be able to strengthen the Indonesian National Team when facing Saudi Arabia.
This was conveyed by the Indonesian National Team Manager Sumardji after attending the Match Coordination Meeting in Jeddah, Wednesday (4/9/2024).
“Today, the MCM activities for the Saudi Arabia vs Indonesia match have been completed. When the MCM is submitted and ratified, Paes can be played in the match,” said Sumardji in his statement.
Sumardji also expressed his gratitude to PSSI General Chairman Erick Thohir for his hard work so that this could be realized.
“A big thank you to Mr. Erick Thohir for the efforts he has made to make Maarten Paes play as soon as possible,” concluded Sumardji.
