Chennai: In Tamil Nadu, for the fifth consecutive month, the domestic cooking gas cylinder price has remained unchanged at Rs 1,068.50 this month.
Public sector oil companies ‘Indian Oil, Bharat, Hindustan Petroleum’, for houses, 14.20 kg; For commercial use, they sell cooking gas cylinders in 19 kg weights. They change domestic cooking gas cylinder prices on the first day of every month according to the crude oil price situation in the international market.
In Tamil Nadu, a domestic cooking gas cylinder was sold at Rs 1,068.50 in November. This month, its price has remained the same without any change.
Once the cylinder is purchased at this price, the oil companies will pay the central government subsidy amount into the customer’s bank account. A domestic cylinder sold at Rs 1,068.50 in July. There has been no change in domestic cylinder prices for five consecutive months.
This month, the price of a cylinder for commercial use fell by Rs 1.50 to Rs 1,891.50 from Rs 1,893.
