Riyadh: No death due to covid was reported in Saudi Arabia on Wednesday. There is no death for the second day in a row and it is a great relief. Meanwhile, 602 people were newly diagnosed with the disease. 432 of those under treatment have recovered.
The total number of cases reported in the country so far stands at 805,879. The total number of recoveries rose to 789,192. The total death toll is 9,233. 7,454 patients are currently undergoing treatment. 139 of them are in critical condition. They are staying in intensive care units in hospitals in different parts of the country. 18,697 RT-PCR tests were performed in 24 hours.

Heat will continue in Saudi Arabia till Saturday
RIYADH: Meteorological department says that it will be hot in Saudi Arabia from Monday to Saturday. The temperature will be between 45 degrees Celsius and 47 degrees Celsius in the Kirkuk areas of Riyadh, Qasim and Northern Borders.
According to the Meteorological Department, the maximum temperature will be between 47 degree Celsius and 50 degree Celsius in most of the governorates. Madinah and some parts of Yambu will see heat in the coming days. The temperature is expected to range from 47 degrees to 50 degrees Celsius.
A fire broke out in a commercial building complex in Riyadh
Riyadh: A fire broke out in a commercial building complex in the Saudi capital city. A fire broke out in a multi-storey building in Alfaiha district on Monday. The fire first broke out in the room where the electricity meters were installed in the building.
Soon the fire spread to more places. The restaurant operating in the building was almost completely gutted. Other parts of the building were also damaged. Civil defense units put out the fire. Civil Defense said no one was injured.
