This is a character of a girl who has never seen any pain in her life and she lives her life as per her wish, I have learned a lot from this character. On the occasion of the premiere of the film “Mastani”, Amina Ilyas, when asked about the increasing incidents of violence and sexual abuse of women in Pakistan and India, said that I do not feel safe in Pakistan as a woman, God willing. If something goes wrong with me in the future and the person in front becomes powerful in terms of money and position, how will I get justice? Because there is no law for powerful people in Pakistan.
Amina Ilyas added that I want to clarify one thing here that all men are not the same, there are some men in our society who are animals or mentally ill, because of these few men every man becomes bad. “Until we give severe punishment to the criminals, there will be no reduction in the incidents of violence and sexual assault. If a woman is also involved in the crime, she should also be punished because the law is the same for both men and women.”
The actress said that take the example of Noor Muqaddam case, the accused of this case is living his life peacefully in jail, the punishment of the accused has not been decided yet, while Noor’s parents are being given history after history, sitting in power. People need to improve system and law of Pakistan.
