Ashish Nehra says he is surprised that fast bowler Jaspreet Bumra has been included in India’s squad for the T20 series against Sri Lanka.

The first T20 match of the series with 3 T20 matches between India and Sri Lanka takes place today. Both Virat Kohli and Rishabh Pund have been rested for the T20 series.
Both Suryakumar Yadav and Deepak Sahar did not play in the series due to injury. KL Rahul did not dance due to injury.
Jadeja and Bumra, two senior players in the Indian squad for the series, have also given a comeback. Bumra is the vice-captain.
In this situation, Ashish Nehra has said that playing in the Bumrah T20 series is amazing. Speaking about this, Ashish Nehra said, “I am amazed that Bumra is playing in the T20 series against Sri Lanka. Any player would just want to play for the team. But after the T20 series, the Indian team will play in 2 Tests. So there is no need to listen to the T20 series in a way that focuses on the Test series. Because there are a lot of fast bowlers in the Indian team. Adequate opportunities should be given to new bowlers.
Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Siraj and Avesh Khan will not get a chance to play as Bumra has joined the team. So playing Bumra is a surprise to me, ”said Ashish Nehra.
