Kochi: Actor and producer Vijay Babu, who went abroad in a case of molesting the actress, will return to Kerala on the 30th of this month. Vijay Babu’s lawyers have filed a copy of the flight ticket from Dubai to Kochi in the High Court. He also asked the court to consider the anticipatory petition tomorrow.
Vijay Babu had said that he would appear before the police on May 19 this month. But he moved from Dubai to Georgia. Vijay Babu’s move was to keep the bailees abroad. But that attempt failed. Let it first come under the jurisdiction of the court. Justice P Gopinath said the bail application would then be considered. It was then that Vijay Babu decided to return home.
The passport of Vijay Babu, who was absconding, was canceled. Return home with special permission from the Embassy.
