The violent fires that plague the US archipelago of Hawaii have left dozens of victims since Tuesday. As rescuers search for the missing and firefighters try to put out the flames, thousands of residents on the island of Maui are still unable to return to their homes. Ariel Quiroz is a Chilean artist, resident of the city of Lahaina, the town most affected by the catastrophe.
