Chennai: The authorities have ordered that ‘no educational institution should conduct special classes during the Pongal holiday’.

Ahead of Pongal, schools and colleges are on holiday from today till the 17th.

In this case, it is said that in some educational institutes, they have given only one day off tomorrow and are planning to hold special classes on the other two days.

In this regard, the school education and higher education department officials have issued instructions to private companies.
