On October 28, around 6 o’clock in the morning, two people were killed and four others were injured as a result of an armed attack on a private house in the Corat Gardens massif of Sumgait city.
The Sumgayit City Prosecutor’s Office reported on this:
“During the incident, it was determined that 2 people – Susana Karakash and Dagbey Farajov were killed, and 4 people were injured. During the incident, Tarlan Farajova and Serkan Karakash, and later neighbors who came to the scene – Etibar Sariyev and Mehman Sariyev, were injured. A criminal case has been initiated under the relevant articles of the Criminal Code.
According to the statement, investigation, operation-search measures are being continued in order to identify the person or persons suspected of committing the crime.
He is a member of Musavat party
It is reported that Dagbey Farajov is a member of the Sumgayit Organization of the opposition Musavat Party in Azerbaijan.

It was reported that the other deceased Suzana Karakash is the daughter of D. Farajov. It is emphasized that his mother and his wife Serkan Karakash, a citizen of Turkey, were also injured. The other two injured are reported to be neighbors who came to the scene.
The party added that they do not think the incident is political yet.
