The tickets for Sunday were already sold out in January, so there will definitely be a full house on the day of the race at the 39th Formula 1 Hungarian Grand Prix, where the winning constructor and podium finishers will once again receive awards produced by the Herend Porcelánmanufaktúra.

At the Monday press conference for the weekend event at the Hungaroring, Zsolt Gyulay, the president and CEO of Hungaroring Sport Zrt., said that the first stage of the development, which was announced in connection with the contract extension until 2032 signed on last year’s race weekend, has been completed.
The development of the utility network has been completed, and the main entrance and the building there have been completed, so there is a worthy reception center, the internal works of which will continue until November 30Zsolt Gyulay announced, and added that the area behind the so-called Super Gold tribune, located in the finish line, has been expanded, mainly due to the territorial demand of the entertainment programs accompanying the Hungarian Grand Prix.

The area of the paddock became 19 meters widerthis work has also ended, but this year we will only use the part that has been used so far. The pit stop in turns 4 and 12 has been renovated, and the main building, which has been standing since 1986, will be demolished after the race, the new one will be nine meters wider, because larger garages will be built. We practically say goodbye to the main building on the weekend” said the president and CEO.
Zsolt Gyulay also revealed that, like the other facilities on the F1 race calendar, the Hungaroring is also commemorating the three-time world champion Ayrton Senna, who died in a tragic accident thirty years ago, so the cobblestones of the S-turn, commonly named after the legendary driver, will be painted green and yellow for this weekend in accordance with the colors of the Brazilian flag.

“In the next phase of the renovation, we will also demolish the main stand, but the two tunnels that will lead from the paddock to the Super Gold grandstand are already structurally ready. In the area behind the main stand, there will be a number of entertainment programs waiting for the spectators, and there will be a 60-meter high bungee jumping tower, from the top of which you can see the track from a different perspective” – stated Zsolt Gyulay, who also spoke about the fact that, in view of the weekend’s heat alarm, the organizers are preparing with steam doors and water.
The CEO was reluctant to predict the winner of Sunday’s race, but said that if he had to name a name, he would choose Lando Norris, the McLaren driver.
The prizes for the podium finishers and the winning constructor were presented at the press conference.

The neoclassical style vases made by the Herend Porcelain Manufactory have a special Far Eastern motif called the “Imperial Peony”. As Simon Attila, the CEO of the company, said, the pattern is a stylized green rose with plant tendrils and leaves, the base color of the trophy is beige, and the silhouette of the Hungaroring appears in its mirror. The winning designer will be able to take home a Herend decorative bowl with the same pattern, the openwork edge of which, on the porcelain lace made with a special technique, echoes the colors of the Hungarian national flag. The awards are decorated with 18-carat matte gold, all of them are handmade, and as the CEO told MTI, their total value is tens of millions of forints.

At the press conference, Zsolt Gyulay and Zoltán Pafféri, president and CEO of the MÁV-Volán group, signed a strategic agreement, which is for the next three years. In this the transport company and the Hungaroring agreed on joint communication, the launch of special flights and the sale of special ticket products.
“Our common goal is for the fans to leave the driving of the cars to the professional drivers and come to the track with public transport, because it is easier on the one hand and more environmentally friendly on the other,” stated Zoltán Pafféri, who said that the so-called Vármegye24 day ticket will be available for HUF 999, the foreigner also known as F1 Travel Pass because of the pushers, and the easiest way to buy them is through the MÁV application.
The 39th Formula 1 Hungarian Grand Prix will be held on Friday, Saturday and Sunday at the Hungaroring.
