However, Luque pointed out that the energy problem at Termogas Machala continues to be a critical point in terms of efficiency. Alternatives are being considered, such as importing gas to operate turbines and using diesel temporarily.

Despite the good news about the hydraulic projection and the absence of outages this week, the Ministry of Energy and Mines emphasized that they continue to work on measures to guarantee a stable and efficient energy supply in the country.
