He said, at the marketing stage, we have said that abnormal profit cannot be made beyond the cost of production. There will not be a huge price gap between producers and consumers. There is the National Directorate of Consumer Protection and the Competition Commission, they will look into this matter.

In response to a question about the syndicate, the trade advisor said, it has become the nature of businessmen, they always try to make a little extra profit. No words, they are like eels, hard to catch. slipping away But from now it will be possible to catch them.

When asked about fixing the price of eggs and chicken, he said, if there are more problems, the price of eggs and chicken can be fixed. If necessary, it will be done by the Directorate of Agriculture Marketing. There is a tariff commission, can take their cooperation.

Salehuddin Ahmed said, “We have told the businessmen that now the price of oil has decreased, your transportation costs will decrease. The price of goods should come down. Once the price rises in Bangladesh, it will not go down.

When asked about the commodity price situation after the new government took office, the advisor said that the current commodity price cannot be said to be too bad. We have brought it to a fairly satisfactory state. Whether it can be made more pleasant is being tried.
