Tuva Novotny (44) is completely clear as to why she does not want to reveal anything about her relationship with Alexander Skarsgård (47).

– There is an expression that says that “if you invite to a wedding, you must also invite to a funeral,” says the Swedish actor to Ukebladet Icacuriren.
In other words, it means that when one dedicates the media to life’s ups and downs, one must also count on having to dedicate them to the downs.
– I have great respect for anyone who manages to be so open and still master life. but even I don’t know if I’m strong enough for it, says Novotny – currently featured in the Netflix film “Avgrunnen” and the Viaplay series “Allt och Eva”.

She and Skarsgård have therefore been secretive about their relationship. They have so far not appeared with each other in an official context.
How long they have actually been lovers is therefore unknown, although Sanna Lundell (45) stated in her podcast in the spring of 2022 that Novotny and Skarsgård had then “been together for several years”.
Kept birth a secret
Neither Novotny nor Skarsgård confirmed that they were lovers or that they were expecting a child together, before the child was born.
Pictures of the two on a trolley ride before Christmas in 2022, however, spoke for themselves. But only in March of the following year, a tight-lipped Skarsgård confirmed to American Entertainment Tonight” that he had become a father. It happened at the premiere of the TV series “Succession”.

Novotny is also not one to seek out the public when she is not on screen or canvas.
– The more you show your face, the less privacy you get. That’s just how it is.
She claims that, despite her acting career, she is not recognized that often on the street.
– Maybe something shouts hello once in a while.
The child is the first for Skarsgård, while Novotny has two children from a previous marriage to a Norwegian man. The family is based in Copenhagen.
Ground contact
When VG met Novotny at a TV job in Oslo in 2017, the middle one was a baby, and she brought the toddler with her to work. But the star was careful even then to protect her privacy.
– The fact that I separate work and private life also means that I keep in touch with the ground, she stated and added that for the same reason she rarely socializes with colleagues in private.
– I also believe that the credibility of the actors’ roles is undermined when you share too much of your own life, she said at the time.
Novotny has a long track record. Viewers know her from films such as “Eat Pray Love” and “Fuck Up”, as well as series such as “Bonusfamilien” and “Dag”.
Skarsgård is otherwise known from, among others, “True Blood”, “Battleship” and “The Northman”. He is the son of actor Stellan Skarsgård (72), whom Novotny played opposite in “Borg” in 2017.
