jpnn.comJAKARTA – There are three main things that job applicants consider when choosing a company besides the salary offer, namely the benefits of Eid Allowance (THR), employment social security (BPJS Ketenagakerjaan) and health insurance (BPJS Kesehatan).

Populix and KitaLulus surveys of job seekers show that this benefit was chosen by 65 percent to 75 percent of job seekers.

Other benefits that are considered are overtime pay (63 percent), performance bonuses (63 percent), and annual leave (62 percent).

Meanwhile, education and training, housing allowances, and maternity leave are in the bottom three as benefits that job seekers are interested in.

Populix and KitaLulus surveys of job seekers show that company facilities or benefits are one of the considerations when looking for work.

“In general, respondents certainly consider salary (75 percent), self-development (69 percent), and career path (59 percent) when looking for a job,” said Senior Researcher Wayan Aristana Prawira via press release, Monday (26/8).

On the other hand, Aris continued, the work environment and work flexibility, both in terms of time and place, were quite considered by respondents, followed by the benefits offered by the company (43 percent).

Even though it is one of the benefits needed by job seekers, there are still many companies that have not complied with their obligations to provide BPJS Employment and BPJS Health insurance.
