Traffic cuts will last from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. this Sunday.
Due to the traditional pilgrimage to the General Cemetery in commemoration and memory of the victims of the dictatorship of Augusto Pinochet, a series of events will be held Traffic cuts and diversions in the Metropolitan Region during this Sunday, September 8th.

Regarding the detours that will mainly affect the Alameda and the northern area of Santiago, the Commander Rodrigo Perez Mujica, of the 32nd Traffic Police Station, explained that it will have an impact “both to public transport and to private vehicles.”

- Public transport along Alameda to the east will be diverted onto Avenida España to the south. It will continue along Avenida Blanco Encalada and Avenida Matta to the east, and will join up with Avenida Providencia via Avenida Seminario to the north.

- Public transport along Avenida Providencia to the west, it will be diverted along Avenida Salvador to the south. It will continue along the axis of Avenida Francisco Bilbao, Curicó, Tarapacá and Vidaurre to the west; where it will join the Alameda via Vergara to the north.
