The General Directorate of Traffic (DGT) plans to install 300 new radars in various areas of Spain. From them, 180 they will be stretch and 120 they will be fixed. To get them started, there will be a investment of 17.5 million eurosas published in the Official State Gazette (BOE).
These radars are added to the 1,325 surveillance mechanisms (780 fixed and 92 section) that the agency already had and that are distributed on Spanish roads.
Where will the new radars be installed?

The technical specifications of the contract indicate that each of these lots entails that the contracted company provide 60 instantaneous fixed speed radars and 90 average speed cinemometers in each section.
