Being able to stand out in any profession is always complicated, but when it comes to the field of health it is even more so. It is not easy to be able to stand out from the rest although
there are some doctors who have achieved it and therefore today are considered the best in Mexico, do you know who they are?
To identify the most outstanding doctors there are various awards. Within the list are the Doctoralia Awards because they are not only selected by the patients but also by the doctors themselves.
What are the Doctoralia Awards?
This is an award that has existed since 2014 and is a recognition of the work of the most valued health professionals from different specialties in Mexico. In addition to having excellent feedback from their patients, winners also have the support of their peers and recognition from Doctoralia based on the quality of your answers in “Ask the Expert”.
How are the winners chosen?
The best valued health professionals are selected taking into account the thousands of opinions made by users of Doctoralia.
Afterwards, colleagues in the profession are the most appropriate to vote and value other professionals according to performance, curriculum and experience criteria.
The help provided to patients is also recognized, as well as the rigor and suitability of all the answers offered in “Ask the Expert”.
Doctoralia Awards 2022: List of winners
As part of the ninth edition of these awards, 628 health professionals from 40 specialties were nominated. In the end there were 126 winners and therefore they are considered the best medical specialists in Mexico.
Of these 126 award-winning professionals, 42 came in first place and 84 were finalists, who took second and third place.
Among the states that have the largest number of award-winning health professionals are: Mexico City, with 28 award-winners in specialties such as Endoscopy, Gastroenterology, Speech Therapy and Phoniatrics, among others; Jalisco with 13 winners among which Cardiology specialists stand out; and Nuevo León with 9, mostly specialists in Sports Medicine, among others.
According to Adrián Alcántara, general director of Doctoralia Mexico, “the purpose of the Doctoralia Awards is to recognize the effort and interest of specialists in helping those who need it most, as well as being specialists who like to digitize their medical practice through tools that allow them to streamline their day to day”.
In addition, in this ninth edition of the Doctoralia Awards highlighted the participation of a large number of women doctors, who stood out in the specialties of Dermatology, Angiology, Vascular Surgery, Endocrinology, Nutrition, Optometry, Psychology, Psychoanalysis, Psychopedagogy, Sexology, Psychiatry and Rheumatology.
