Valve publishes a list of 14 discount projects that are expected to accompany us throughout the year – with one of them currently underway
Want to know when is the right time to open your wallet and start splurging on games that will be added to your personal library? The Valve company volunteers to make our lives easier and announces in advance all the scheduled dates on the Steam digital store during the year 2023.
Now, until Monday, February 27, the Mystery Fest project is taking place with extremely high discounts for adventure and role-playing games with a mysterious and surprising atmosphere and plot – and on March 16, the first big seasonal promotion project of the year will begin in honor of the arrival of spring, which will last until for March 23.
April and May will both see promotional ventures that focus on certain categories (puzzle and thinking games and sports games), while June will bring with it the first Next Fest event of 2023 – with dozens of demos of new indie games that you can try out for a limited time. From June 29th until July 13th, the Big Summer Sale will take place, followed by another sale event for the Stealth, Visual Novel, Strategy and SHMUP categories (which consists of challenging action titles in the style of Bullet Hell and similar).
A second Next Fest event packed with demos will arrive in October, an event for Halloween with a natural focus on horror titles will take place between the end of October and the beginning of November, and for dessert a seasonal event for the coming of autumn will arrive at the end of November, while the winter sales event will close the year and continue until the first days of January 2024.
