For today, September 15, the Mexico City has planned several important activities for the anniversary of the beginning of our independence, however, there will be several rallies and blockades in some areas of the capital and here we tell you where.

In accordance with the Social Mobilization agenda of the Secretariat of Citizen Security (SSC)several important concentrations are planned in the Cuahutémoc delegation and a blockade in the Venustiano Carranza delegation

A rally by Morena supporters is planned throughout the day at the capital’s Zócalo, to mark the last cry for independence of President Andrés Manuel López Obrador. The supporters will express their support for the Federal Executive who will give his last ceremony.

A rally by the “Plataforma 4:20” Collective is also planned for 12:00 noon at the Monument to the Mother.

On the other hand, the group Daughters of Cannabis will be outside the facilities of the Museum of Memory and Tolerance in front of the Alameda Central. They will address issues related to the use of public spaces for the free consumption of cannabis and respect for the gender perspective.

For the Coyoacán delegation there will be the Panteón del Pueblo de San Francisco Culhuacán group, which will be at the Panteón of the same name starting at 11:00 a.m.

On the other hand, a motorcycle ride by the Arrancones Tláhuac group is planned starting at 6:00 p.m. They will depart from Avenida Canal de Miramontes with a possible destination to the Zócalo or the Angel of Independence. Motorists are advised to take precautions to avoid accidents.

On the other hand, in the Venustiano Carranza district, there will be a major blockade in the Mercado de la Merced by market merchants, where they will demand the removal of a stall that was inside the Mercado de la Merced. Those interested are asked to take precautions.
