Estela Awards 2024 successfully celebrated its eighth edition in Guatemala
Los Estela Awards 2024in its eighth editiontook place on August 24 at the Parque de la Industria in Guatemala. This event ―which has established itself as one of the most prestigious in the musical field of the region―, brought together several artists and record producers, both from Guatemala and Latin America, in a night full of talent, recognition and live shows.

Since its creation in 2016, the Estela Awards have had the mission of recognizing and highlighting the talent of artists and record producers from Guatemala and other Latin American countries. In its eight years of existence, the award has gained relevance, consolidating itself as a highly prestigious event in the region.
This year, more than 220 artists were nominated in 22 different categories. The bands or solo artists represented a wide range of genres and styles, coming from Guatemala, Mexico, Spain, the Caribbean and South America.

- Best Marimba Song: The Mosquito by Marimba El Valle
- Best Metal Song: An opportunity from Highway
- Best Pop Group: Funky Punch from The Tribe’s Drum
- Best Female Pop Song: Valchata de Valary

Special recognitions
In addition to the categories mentioned above, the Estela Awards also gave special recognition to outstanding figures and entities.
