The Council of Ministers this Thursday, June 8 was essentially focused on two main topics.
The first related to the message of the President of the Transition. He began by thanking President Erdogan of Turkey for the invitation and the hospitality which he and his delegation received on the occasion of his investiture.
On the occasion of this invitation, there was a tete-a-tete between the two heads of state. They reviewed the cooperation ties that unite the two countries and took the opportunity to reaffirm their determination to strengthen this bilateral cooperation between Turkey and our country Guinea. Therefore, it is a moment for the Head of State to welcome this invitation and also to thank all the Guinean and Turkish diplomatic staff who have been mobilized to make this visit by the Head of State effective.
The second message from the President of the Transition focused on national exams. He took the opportunity to invite and congratulate the Minister of Education, the Minister of Higher Education and that of Technical Education. He congratulated them for all the efforts that have been made by them as well as by the educational body and the parents of pupils and students who have mobilized throughout the year to support and create the conditions for studies favorable to their children.
He took the opportunity to invite the three ministers in charge of Education in our country to continue to strengthen efforts to better qualify the Guinean education system towards excellence. He congratulated everyone and wished that the exams would take place under favorable conditions and that the results would make it possible to distinguish our most deserving sons, brothers and sisters to continue their studies in the higher class.
Then, he also took the opportunity to congratulate the Minister of Infrastructure for the inauguration of the Soumba bridge in Dubréka. The Minister of Planning and Cooperation recalled that it was the fruit of Guinean-Japanese cooperation that enabled the construction of this infrastructure. Then she delivered a message to all members of the Government to ensure compliance with the contractual specifications.
Then, the Prime Minister took the floor to also congratulate the Minister of Cooperation and that of Infrastructure. He recalled his condolences to the families of students who drowned on their way to their exam centers. He recalled the compassion of the Head of State and that of the Government towards the families of the deceased children as well as the entire body of Education and the people of Guinea.
