Exemptions from passport fees

Exemptions will apply to some Colombians, in line with the provisions of Article 8 of Law 1212 of 2008. People who belong to levels 1 and 2 of SISBEN, adults over 62 years of age, people with disabilities, and those who must leave the country for health, work or education reasons, will be exempt from paying the passport.. Sports, cultural and scientific delegations are also included. Reduction in passport costs

Thanks to an agreement with the Portuguese Government, the cost of an ordinary passport in Colombia will be reduced. Other service improvements
