A total of 53,121 units are attached to the top-10 model of the four-meter SUV. It includes models from 10 different companies. These include Tata Nexan, Maruti Brezza, Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonnet, Mahindra XV300, Toyota Urban Cruiser, Nissan Magnet, Renault Kicker and Honda WRV. The list also includes the Ford EcoSport, but not a single unit has been sold. So let’s find out in detail which model sold the most.

Tata Nexan: Tata sold 14,614 Nexans in May. Compared to May 2021, Nexan has grown 126.96% year-on-year. One year ago, the company sold 6,439 Nexans. That means the company sold a further 8,175 Nexans last month. Nexan had a market share of 27.52% in this segment.

Maruti Brezza: Maruti sold 10,312 Brezza in May. Compared to May 2021, Presa recorded a growth of 289.43% year-on-year. A year ago, the company sold 2,648 Presas. That means the company sold 7,664 Presas last month. Presa has a 19.41% market share in this segment.

Hyundai Venue: Hyundai sold 8,300 seats in May. Compared to May 2021, the location recorded 71.49% year-on-year growth. A year ago, the company sold 4,840 seats. That means the company sold a further 3,460 seats last month. Location in this segment has 15.62% market share.

Kia Sonate: In May, Kia sold 7,799 sonnets. The sonnet recorded 19.19% year-on-year growth compared to May 2021. One year ago, the company sold 6,627 sonnets. That means the company sold a further 1,272 sonnets last month. Sonnet’s market share in this segment was 14.87%.

Mahindra XV300: Mahindra sold 5,022 XV300s in May. Compared to May 2021, the XUV 300 recorded 1900.80% year-on-year growth. A year ago, the company sold 251 XV300. That means the company sold more than 251 XV300s last month. The XV300 has a 9.45% market share in this segment.

Toyota Urban Cruiser: Toyota sold 3,128 Urban Cruisers in May. The Urban Cruiser recorded a year-over-year growth of 738.61% compared to May 2021. One year ago, the company sold 272 Urban Cruisers. That means the company sold 2,755 Urban Cruisers last month. Urban Cruiser has a market share of 5.89% in this segment.

Nissan Magnite: Nissan sold 1,920 magnets in May. Compared to May 2021, Magnite has recorded 60% year-on-year growth. A year ago, the company sold 1,200 magnets. That means the company sold more than 720 magnets last month. Magnetite’s market share in this segment was 3.61%.

Renault kicker: Renault sold 1,380 kg in May. Compared to May 2021, Kigger saw a year-over-year growth of 4.07%. A year ago, the company sold 1,326 kilograms. That means the company sold more than 54kg last month. Gigger has a market share of 2.60% in this segment.

Honda WRV: Honda sold 546 WRVs in May. Compared to May 2021, the WRV year-on-year growth has reached 184.38%. A year ago, the company sold 192 WRVs. That means the company sold more than 345 WRVs last month. The market share of WRV in this segment was 1.03%.

Ford EcoSport: Ford has closed its business in the Indian market due to which not a single unit of EcoSport was sold last month. Earlier in May 2021, the company sold 503 EcoSports. That is, the company suffered a 100% loss. At the same time, the market share was 0%.
