These teams were the most dominant in their conference

When you think of the most dominant teams of the last decade, you think of the 2015-16 Golden State Warriors. Still without Kevin Durant, Stephen Curry’s revolutionary team broke the all-time record of 73 wins in a regular season, but the Dubs didn’t really run away from their pursuers. This may be a little surprising, but there was a second incredibly dominant team that same season – the San Antonio Spurs, who also won 67 games.

SPOX took a closer look at the top 15 teams that won their conference confidently and left their pursuers in the dust. Note: Until 1984, a division winner with a weaker record could rank above the runner-up in a division, but here we are looking at the pursuer with the second-best record.
